MSN Quick-links

OK, since we're hitting MSN to find our charts, tables, data, I thought I'd try to streamline the process a little. It's not ideal, but it does save some time. In order to use this to its maximum benefit, you'll need a tabbed browser like Opera or Firefox.

Instructions

  1. Enter stock ticker in this box: then click here or press TAB

  2. For Firefox, press and hold the CTRL key, then click on each of these links below. Pressing CTRL will launch each of these pages in a new tab.
    For Opera, press and hold SHIFT + CTRL, then click on each of these links below.
    If you're on Internet Explorer, you can't take advantage of tabbed browsers, but you can at least click and go Back each time.
 
• Book Value (important columns: Book Value/Share and Avg P/E)
• Sales & EPS (important columns: Sales and EPS)
• Current EPS
• 5 year earnings estimate
• ROIC (look at the "Return On Capital" line. It should be over 10%)
• Morningstar (look at the bottom line for cash flow numbers)

• Balance Sheet (look at the "Total Equity" line as well as "Long Term Debt")
